The Village AT Potter Pond

Formally known as Wakamo Park, the Village at Potter Pond is a key ingredient to chemistry and layout of East Matunuck. For many years, the Village has brought families from all over to share in the experience which has made East Matunuck so great for so long. One large beneficiary of the tourism has been the Matunuck Oyster Bar. The two neighbors have been working almost as partners as diners visit the Village and Village vacationers visit the local restaurants.

Surrounded by Ocean on all sides, the Village at Potter Pond is an essential stop for beach goers, fishing enthusiasts, paddleboarders, kayakers, boaters, and other water sports! If your idea of fun includes being around ocean and nature, then this is the place for you.

The cottages inside the park are very affordable considering all the amenities they offer. Besides having a full kitchen and bathroom, some have outdoor showers, and you most likely have the ability to grill outside while taking in the sun and playing lawn games with family and friends. If you bring a bike, you can tour Snug Harbor and visit the marinas and coffee shops. Just make sure you are back in time to view the sun setting over Potter Pond!
